Beaver Moon is the week when those forgotten Ultimate Scream cards might finally get a proper run. The promotion is described as starting on November 24, 2026, and ending on December 1, with every eligible card getting full in-position Chemistry and one face stat raised to 99. Both perks are temporary. If you're planning a squad or setting aside FC 27 Coins for a new player, think about what the card offers after the boost, too. A great week is nice, but you don't want to be stuck with an expensive player you can't fit into your team afterwards.

Getting the Chemistry Right

The key detail is position. A Scream player needs to start in a valid primary or secondary role to receive the promised full Chemistry. Put that player in the wrong spot and you shouldn't count on the perk fixing it. Club, league and nation links around the eligible card won't matter during the boost, so this is a good opportunity to try that awkward hybrid you've been eyeing. Check the rest of the starting eleven, though. The Scream card's benefit doesn't automatically give its teammates full Chemistry. It's also worth setting up your starting formation before changing tactics in a match, since the positions used at kickoff are what matter for Chemistry.

What Changes for the Week

The two perks solve different problems. One helps you fit a player into the squad; the other could change how that player feels on the pitch.

Feature During Beaver Moon After the boost
Chemistry Full in a valid position Normal squad links apply
Face stat One stat raised to 99 Returns to its usual value

Choosing Players Before the Boost

That 99 looks tempting, but the affected face stat hasn't been confirmed as fixed or random. Don't assume your winger will get pace or your striker will get shooting. Look at the whole card instead. A wide player who can already pass and dribble has a better chance of staying useful whatever gets boosted. The same goes for midfielders who can defend and move the ball, rather than doing just one job well. Role Plus Plus matters here as well. Check the roles available in your preferred formation, including secondary positions, before spending. If you've got a mid-rated Scream card sitting in the club, give it another look before putting it into an SBC. It could fill a gap for the week without forcing you to rebuild three other positions.

A Quick Squad Check

1. Check valid positions and roles before choosing your Scream starters.

Match Plans and Evolutions

Try your lineup in Squad Battles when the boost arrives. You'll get a feel for the changed stat without risking a close Rivals match, and you can check whether the players around your Scream card still have the Chemistry you expected. Then take the setup into Rivals or Champions if it feels right. Keep a second formation ready with the same core players, especially if your usual plan involves moving an attacker centrally during a match. Evolutions need a little care, too. If one uses a Scream item, check whether the finished version keeps the relevant item identity before relying on the boost. Finishing a useful gameplay Evolution ahead of the event may be sensible, but there's no need to rush a cosmetic change.

One Test Worth Doing

1. Compare your starting lineup with and without the temporary Chemistry perk.

Planning for the Price Swing

Tradeable Scream cards may attract more interest ahead of November 24, although a price rise isn't guaranteed. If you need a particular player for the weekend, decide what you're comfortable paying rather than waiting for the perfect deal. Players you already own can make that decision easier. Untradeable Heroes, for example, can provide a familiar core while you try different Scream attackers around them. After December 1, check your squad again: both the 99 face stat and the special Chemistry perk are due to disappear. There's no confirmed second upgrade for the December 24 Cold Moon, so I'd treat this as the only scheduled window. Keep some EAFC 27 Coins aside for any changes you actually need once normal Chemistry returns.
